● 第8回Asia Pacific Chitin & Chitosan Symposiumの2008年開催中止のお知らせ
2008年１月28日に以下のお知らせがProf. Stevens氏より届きましたので、会員の皆様へお知らせします。
2008年6月3-5日、ミャンマーで開催予定であった8th APCCSは国内政情不安のため中止となり、2009年9月7-9日台湾で開催予定の第11回国際キチン・キトサン会議(11th ICCC) と合同開催することが決まりましたことをお知らせします。
Dear the members of JSCC,
This is a short message to confirm that this year APCCS8, originally planned for June 3-5 2008 in Myanmar, will not be held neither in Myanmar, nor in Thailand. The original idea to organize in Myanmar had to be cancelled due to the unfortunate political developments. The alternative to organize
in Thailand later in 2008 was abandoned in view of the intensive congress program for 2009: the EUCHIS meeting in Venice May 23-27, 2009 and the 11th ICCC in Taiwan 7-9 September 2009. The organizers of 11th ICCC have kindly agreed to integrate APCCS 8 in the Taiwan congress.
